I worked as a director and also a presenter for the gun violence segment in Hear Our Voices.

Hear Our Voices, a student-produced thirty-minute documentary focused on youth mental health state and nationwide. Hear Our Voices features New Mexico State Legislature Representative Pamelya Herndon, Albuquerque City Councilor Nichole Rogers, Albuquerque District Attorney Sam Bregman, Youth Mental Health Councilor Joe Griffiths, many youths, and others.

Hear Our Voices has been in production for over two years with assistance from Mr. Anthony Conforti, film teacher at New Mexico Academy for the Media Arts, sponsor Pamelya Herndon, documentary class, and many NMAMA students.

The documentary is still a work in progress as students plan to visit the New Mexico State Capital in February 2025 to lobby themselves for HB-58, a bill sponsored by Pamelya Herndon working towards mental health improvements in schools.

The film was premiered publicly on January 10th, 2025 at the African-American Performing Arts Center at ExpoNM crewed by students who worked on the documentary.

The film was displayed at the Gallup Film & Media Expo on April 30th, 2025.
